The park has landscaped walking paths and play areas and is home to many of Illinois' natural wildlife, including monarch butterflies and herons, and migratory birds.. To protect the inhabitants, dogs are not allowed in the park. There are concerts throughout the summer at The Huntington Bank Pavilion. 

 In addition to being within walking distance to Museum Campus and two children’s parks, Museum Park townhomes are conveniently located to three renowned hospitals, four train stations including the Metra and three major L-train lines, private and public elementary and high schools, and over 20-miles of jogging and cycling paths along the lakefront.
